The challenge
As Decilo grew, their operations became increasingly complex
When Decilo came to Dasolo, they had to manage:
- Limited visibility between sales and manufacturing
- Manual exchanges of files and specifications
- Orders coming from multiple channels
- Custom products built from ear impressions
At the same time, audiologists needed a simple way to place orders and upload patient data without relying on emails or manual processes.
The solution
We built a fully custom B2B portal connected to Odoo, designed specifically around Decilo's workflows
A dedicated portal for audiologists
Audiologists now have access to a secure interface where they can:
- Track their orders over time
- Upload ear impressions and related files
- Assign each order to a specific patient
- Configure products and select variants
- Place orders in just a few steps
This portal is now used daily by their partners.
A patient-centric system
Decilo's operations required a different structure than a traditional e-commerce setup. Orders are linked to patients, not just customers. Audiologists place and pay for orders, but each product is tied to an end user.
At Dasolo, we implemented a custom data model in Odoo to handle:
- Clear relationships between audiologists, patients and orders
- File uploads such as 3D scans or impressions
- Patient records
Document upload portal: from impression to order
Dasolo built a dedicated upload zone where audiologists can drop ear impression files directly into each order. The custom data flows straight from the portal to the order and on to manufacturing, no manual handoffs, no lost files. Production receives everything they need, attached to the right order, the moment it's uploaded.
Automated manufacturing workflows
Once an order is confirmed:
- Production teams access everything from a single interface
- All required data is attached to it
- A manufacturing order is automatically created
There is no need for manual transfer of information between teams.
Managing complex product configurations
Decilo offers a wide range of products with many possible variations. We structured:
- A setup that supports large-scale customization without adding operational complexity
- A system capable of handling custom configurations
- A flexible product catalog
